About this Website

We have made this website for Japanese language teachers or student apprentices who desire to become Japanese-Language Teachers. The purpose of the website is promoting one’s own “lessons” or “learning” through practical teaching experiences. The style of Japanese-Language teacher training is changing from a Teacher training type to a Teacher growing type, reflection from the practitioner is required. But, in the first place, what is reflecting oneself? It is still not know what type of reflection leads to one’s growth.
In this website, we are introducing the methods of self-reflection by applying Thinking At the Edge (TAE)Steps, which was created by Eugene Gendlin. The forms we are providing in this website are designed to extract your experiences and lessons systematically. By filling out the forms following instructions, you can have an internal conversation with yourself and find your things you have learned through your experiences. We have prepared 15 courses for multiple uses, such as reviewing everyday practice or research of actual practice. We sincerely hope Japanese-Language Teachers or student apprentices who desire to become a Japanese-Language Teacher can utilize this website.
(This website is a part of fruits of Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI), Structure of Recursive Japanese-Language Teaching Practice Investigative Approach aiming for Teacher’s growing, ”教師の成長をめざす再帰的日本語教育実践研究法の構築“ in 2013(Research Project Number 25370595 Principle Investigator Satoko Tokumaru).
